Admin role
Or a custom role with BPO management set to Can manage BPOs and allocations on the Data & integrations tab
Only the Admin role, or a custom role with the Admin base role, can create a schedule sync, even if another role has BPO management.
Admins set roles and permissions in Manage team > Roles and permissions.
Use this article to set up the Aspect report that a BPO sends to Assembled, so its Aspect schedules sync into Assembled automatically. Assembled reads Aspect’s Employee Daily Tally report, which your BPO exports with Aspect’s AutoRun and uploads to the integration’s SFTP server.
First, create the integration as described in BPO schedule integrations, and choose Aspect as the platform.
How the Aspect integration works
- The file is based on the Employee Daily Tally report, with the columns in the Aspect template CSV:
emp_id,start_time,stop_time, andstate_code. It’s fine for the file to have extra columns. - Aspect’s report doesn’t include a time zone, so when you connect the integration, choose the Timezone of Aspect export: the time zone your Aspect events are scheduled in.
- To change the time zone later, select Manage on the site’s card and go to the Platform connection tab.
- Each row’s employee ID is matched to the team member’s Aspect ID under Optional IDs on their profile.
- Each row’s state code is turned into an Assembled event type by your event mapping rules.
Configure AutoRun in Aspect
Your BPO sets up the export in Aspect. Use these settings when you create the AutoRun for the Employee Daily Tally report:
- For the report format, choose Comma Separated File with Column Headers.
- In Print Options for AutoRun, on the General tab, select Export Report Data and Show Employee ID.
- On the AutoRun tab, select Override AutoRun queue’s regional settings, and choose English (US), so dates and times are in the format Assembled expects.
- Schedule the AutoRun to upload the file to the SFTP server at regular intervals.
Check the connection
After the first file is uploaded, check the site’s Schedule auto-sync status on Configure > BPO schedule integrations. Schedule is up to date means the file synced. If rows didn’t sync, see Sync history.
