[Beta] How do I sync events from my Google Calendar into Assembled?
Note: This article describes a beta feature of Assembled. If your team is not enrolled but you would like to enable the feature, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
When your account is connected to Google Calendar through the beta integration, events on your personal calendar will be automatically reflected in the Assembled team calendar. Events will be assigned to specific event types in Assembled depending on keywords (e.g. the word "lunch" may trigger a Lunch event) configured by your account administrator. If you're unsure about which keywords to use, please contact your administrator or email@example.com.
To get started:
1. First sync your Assembled to your Google Calendar, as described here. This will initiate a one way sync that automatically pushes events and event changes from Assembled into your Google Calendar.
2. Once your Google calendar is synced, navigate to Settings, and return to the Integrations tab:
3. Click on“Read Google Calendar(Beta)”, and complete the Google authentication flow.
4. Once you've authenticated your account, Assembled will automatically start syncing in events from your Google Calendar.
