Copilot UI redesign

Overview

We've redesigned Copilot to make your support experience faster, more intuitive, and more efficient. This update focuses on three key improvements:

• Enhanced Feature Discoverability - Find the tools you need more easily
• Improved User Experience - Streamlined interface that's more enjoyable to use
• Increased Information Density - See more content at once with less scrolling

Important Note: All existing functionality remains the same - features are simply reorganized for better accessibility and efficiency.

Key interface changes

Space-Optimized Design

The new interface uses space more efficiently, reducing the need to scroll and allowing you to see complete drafted responses at a glance. This design improvement leads to significant speed gains in your daily workflow.

Enhanced Home Screen

The redesigned home screen provides better visibility of all available features. The two most commonly used actions - Draft Reply and Draft with Note - are now more prominently displayed with larger buttons for easier access.

New Feature Locations and Improvements

Search Bar Repositioned

What Changed: The search bar has moved from the bottom to the top of the interface.

Why This Matters: This new position ensures the search bar remains visible regardless of your Zendesk app configuration or screen size. The previous bottom location would sometimes disappear depending on your setup.

Improved Source Display

What's New:

• Sources now appear immediately when relevant
• The top 3 most relevant sources are displayed upfront
• No more navigating through multiple drop-downs

How to Use:

• Copy Source Links: Click the copy button next to any source
• Navigate to Sources: Click directly on source links to open them
• View All Sources: Click "See all sources" to expand the complete list

Streamlined Rationale Display

The rationale section (explaining the reasoning behind ticket responses) is now more condensed, freeing up valuable space on your reply cards while maintaining all the essential information.

Enhanced Follow-up Actions

New Workflow:

• Type directly in the follow-up actions box, or
• Click "New" and select from available options (like Summary)
• Actions appear directly in your workspace for immediate access
