If you have no existing streams or s3 bucket, configure the below setup, and click Next.
On the next page of this setup modal, the Your selection section will confirm the setup selections you’ve made.
Depending on which option you chose on the previous step, Assembled will run a different CloudFormation template to ensure the right setup happens on the Amazon Connect side.
In other words, if kinesis stream(s) and or the CTR s3 bucket already exist, Assembled will not attempt to create them again.
If this looks correct, click Fill out AWS Form.
Once clicked, this will link to a template that will create the infrastructure Assembled will use to fetch CTRs and Agent events.
To view the metadata for your template, click View template.
On this Quick create stack page, simply scroll to the bottom and click the acknowledgement, and then Create stack.
From there, the stack will begin the creation process, which will take a minute or two to complete.
Now, return to Assembled, and click the checkbox confirming you’ve successfully run the AWS template, and click Confirm.
The following form will prompt you to input a few datapoints:
AWS Account ID
Accessible via the top-right corner of your AWS portal.
Region
Accessible via the top-right corner of your AWS portal.
Connect Instance ARN
Accessible via your instance account overview.
External ID (optional) is not required, and can be left blank.
Once your form is filled out with the above datapoints, simply click Submit.
If the above steps are followed correctly, you’ll receive a confirmation screen like the below, which means you’re all set!
