The My settings page is where you update your own name, password, language, time zone, color scheme, default filters, and connected apps. Changes here apply only to your account, not to anyone else in your company. The page has three tabs: Profile, Preferences, and Connected apps.
Opening My settings
You can open My settings in either of these ways:
- Account menu: select your name at the bottom of the left navigation, then select My settings.
- Configure: if you have access to Configure, select Configure in the left navigation, then My settings. It's the first item in the menu.
You can also press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) and search for "My settings". After you make changes, select Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Profile
Personal info
Go to the Profile tab. Under Personal info, you can edit your First name, Last name, and Email address.
Your name is how other people see you across Assembled, for example on the Staffing timeline, in reports, and on the People page. Teammates can also find you by searching for your name or email address.
To change your password, select Change password. Enter your current password and your new one.
Notifications
Under Notifications, check Notify me when an agent submits a time off request to get an email for every new time off request, and whenever an approved request is cancelled. This option is for managers, leads, and admins.
If you're a team lead, you can then choose Notify me about requests from: All agents (the default) or Agents on my teams. With Agents on my teams, you only get requests from agents who share one of your teams, including agents on child teams. If you aren't assigned to any team, you won't get automatic notifications in this mode.
If you leave the box unchecked, agents can still choose you as a recipient when they submit a time off request, and you'll get an email for those requests.
Under the checkbox, you can also select Subscribe to the Assembled product newsletter to get product updates.
Preferences
Localization
Go to the Preferences tab. Under Localization:
- Display language sets the language used for navigation, pages, and messages.
- Time zone sets the time zone Assembled uses to show times to you, for example on the Staffing timeline and in reports.
- Date format sets how dates appear, such as 10/30/2026 for English (US).
Time zone and date format are optional. They only change what you see.
Appearance
On the Preferences tab, under Appearance:
- Color scheme: choose Light, Dark, or Use system setting to match your browser or device. The change applies right away and only to your account.
- Staffing chart colors: choose how staffing charts show surplus, base staffing, and deficit.
- Accessible: blue for surplus, pale green for base staffing, and orange for deficit.
- Classic: pale green for surplus, cyan for base staffing, and red for deficit.
- Items per page: choose how many rows lists and tables show per page: 20, 50, 100, 250, or 500.
Defaults
On the Preferences tab, under Defaults, choose a Channel, Queue, Site, or Team. Assembled applies these as filters on every page that has filters, so you see the work you care about first. Each one is optional, and you can change the filters on any page at any time.
Copilot
If your company uses Copilot, the Preferences tab has a section for each place you use it, such as Copilot in Salesforce or Copilot in Zendesk.
- My writing style: under Greetings, add examples of how you usually greet customers. Copilot uses them to personalize its suggested replies. Select Add greeting example to add more, and Preview to see how suggestions will look.
- In Zendesk, you can use Zendesk placeholders, such as the requester's first name, in your examples.
- Move suggested replies to text editor (Zendesk only): when checked, suggested replies go straight into the Zendesk text editor.
Connected apps
Go to the Connected apps tab. Connected lists apps you've already connected. Available lists apps you can connect:
- Assembled Chrome extension: tracks agent states with the time tracker browser extension. Select Connect to open the extension in the Chrome Web Store.
- Assembled → Google Calendar: automatically creates events in your personal Google Calendar based on your events in Assembled. Choose My calendar to add events to your main calendar, or Separate Assembled calendar to keep them in their own calendar. Then select Connect.
