Office hours are live, 1:1 sessions where you can connect directly with someone from the Assembled team. Use them to get answers on a specific problem, walk through a configuration question, or align on next steps for something your team is working on. This article explains how to get the most out of a session: before, during, and after the call.
How do I prepare before the call?
Sharing context before the session helps us come prepared and makes the time more useful for your team.
When you book, include as much detail as possible about the issue or question you want to cover. Relevant information might include the specific feature or workflow involved, any error messages or unexpected behavior you've seen, and what you've already tried.
What should I expect during the call?
Sessions default to 15 minutes, but we can and will schedule more time if the topic calls for it.
Come prepared to share your screen. Walking through the issue in the product directly is usually the fastest way to diagnose and address it.
Not everything will be resolved on the call itself. The goal is to connect live, hear the full context, address what we can in the moment, and set clear expectations for next steps. Depending on the priority and scope of the issue, those next steps will be arranged and communicated after the session.
What happens after the call?
If there are open items after the session, we'll follow up based on what was discussed. The timeline and format for follow-up will depend on the complexity and priority of the issue.
If something comes up after the call that changes the picture (new context, a related issue, or a shift in urgency) please reach out directly and we'll adjust accordingly.
