You will need:
- admin access to Assembled
- a Slack plan that supports creating an email address for a Slack channel (all paid plans)

Follow the steps here to create an email address for a channel within your team’s Slack instance. Copy that email address.
In Assembled, navigate to the People page and add a new person with the channel email address from the step above as their email address.
Set role to
Team Lead(this is the minimum permission level that will allow email notifications for time off requests).
Populate person’s name in a way that will make its purpose clear to your team (e.g. “notify my manager via Slack”).
Set this Slack person as non-schedulable.
Send this person an invitation email via Assembled. This invitation email will appear in the associated Slack channel.
Copy the invite link in the email and paste in your web Browser.
Create a password that is easy to remember.
Log into this new account and Enable time off notifications on the User settings page.
Enable agents on your new process
All new time off events will be sent to the Slack channel email without needing to select the account from the notification drop down.
A notification will appear in the associated Slack channel. Managers can click the link to open the request in Assembled to approve or deny.
