Pre-requisite: Overview & installation instructions for Assembled Chrome Extension

Once installed, the Assembled Chrome extension will show in the browser window, wherever the user has configured extensions to appear. 

Clicking on the extension will show the next scheduled event, and provide a link to the My schedule view in Assembled. 

Configuring notifications

Once the extension has been installed, navigate to the Notifications menu in Assembled. There, admins will be able to enable the notification functionality.

Once enabled, notifications for upcoming events will begin appearing for all agents with the extension installed.

FAQ

• How often does the extension sync with Assembled?

  Every minute. Schedule changes in Assembled should appear in the extension within a minute. Notifications for newly updated events could take up to two minutes to appear.

• What if an agent isn't logged into Assembled?

  This is the most likely problem for agents to run into with the extension. Agents are required to remain logged into Assembled for the functionality to work. If agents are auto logged-out of Assembled, they will not receive notifications. The extension will show a warning sign, reminding them to log in.
