Assembled connects to many contact platforms, HRIS systems, and other tools out of the box. If you don't see your platform in our list of available integrations, that doesn't mean your data can't reach Assembled — it just means the connection isn't automatic. This article walks through your options.
What if I don't see the integration I need?
There are two ways to bring in data from a platform we don't natively support:
- Check whether it already connects through a tool we do support.
- Push the data into Assembled yourself using our public API.
Both are covered below. If you're not sure which applies to you, contact support@assembled.com and we can help you figure out the best path.
Can I get there through an existing integration?
Some platforms send their data through a helpdesk or CRM before it reaches Assembled. If your tool already feeds into one of our supported platforms, Assembled can often ingest that data automatically, with no custom work required.
For example, if your team uses Sprout Social for social media conversations and has it connected to Kustomer, Assembled will pick up that data through our existing Kustomer integration, since we support social channels there.
Note: This works for any platform-to-helpdesk pairing, not just Sprout Social and Kustomer. Check your platform's own integration settings to see if it already connects to a helpdesk or CRM we support.
How do I build a custom connection?
If your platform doesn't route through a supported helpdesk or CRM, you can push your volume and case data into Assembled directly using our public API. This is the standard approach for any data source without an out-of-the-box connector.
- Review our API documentation to see the available endpoints and data formats.
- Check your platform's own API documentation (for example, Sprout Social's) to confirm what data it can export.
- Build the connection to push your case and volume data into Assembled on a regular schedule.
Keep in mind: This requires engineering work on your side. Assembled provides the API and documentation, but building and maintaining the connection is custom work for your team.
If you'd like help scoping the work before you start, you're welcome to book time with our team through our office hours.
