When you view your schedule through the Assembled app embedded in Zendesk (ZD), a line marks the current time. This article explains why that line can fall behind while the app stays open, and how to bring it back up to date.
Why does the current time indicator stay fixed while the app is open?
Note: The current time indicator loads once, when the embedded schedule opens. It does not advance on its own after that.
If you leave the app open in Zendesk for a while, the indicator can end up showing a time that's earlier than the actual current time.
How do I get an up-to-date time indicator?
Do either of the following:
- Refresh the Zendesk page.
- Close and reopen the Assembled app panel within Zendesk.
Either action reloads the schedule and moves the indicator to the current time.
Keep in mind: The indicator reflects the time as of the last page load or app open, not a continuous, live-updating clock.
What if the indicator still looks off after refreshing?
Refreshing should always bring the indicator current. If it doesn't, contact support@assembled.com so we can take a closer look.
